Uni Capital Guaranteed Fund
Fund Objective
A fund which provides the minimum agreed guaranteed returns with
potential upside at maturity by participating in the performance
of the largest global and Asian companies over a 5-year period.
Fund Strategy
A substantial portion of the Fund will be invested into the Fixed
Income Instruments issued by reputable licensed Financial Institutions
in Malaysia for the guaranteed returns portion.
As for the bonus return at maturity, the Fund will participate
in a basket of Dow Jones Global Titans 50 Index and Dow Jones Tiger
Titans 50 Index. The weighting of each index in the basket is 50%
on Dow Jones Global Titans 50 Index and 50% on Dow Jones Tiger Titans
50 Index. Dow Jones Global Titans 50 Index is a capitalization-weighted
index of the 50 largest multinational companies, whereas Dow Jones
Tiger Titans 50 Index is an index of 50 largest Asian companies
in the most developed markets of Asia. The bonus return is calculated
using the basket’s highest performance in each quarter over
5 years. Investments in this call option shall not exceed 15% of
the total assets of the fund.
