
A. Compassionate Benefit (Death/TPD)
As a compassionate benefit, RM25,000 will be payable upon the occurrence of death or TPD, whichever is earlier, after which the policy automatically terminates.
TPD coverage ceases at age 60.
B. Convertible Option
At anytime while the term assurance is in force but not later than the policy anniversary immediately following the Life Assured's 60th birthday, the term assurance plan may be converted to a new policy other than a term policy without further evidence of insurability for an equivalent Sum Assured, such that the liability of the Company under the new policy shall not exceed the original Sum Assured of the term plan.
Critical Illnesses Rider (Optional)
A. Death / TPD Benefit
100% of Sum Assured, RM25,000 will be payable upon the occurrence of death or TPD, whichever is earlier, after which the policy automatically terminates.
TPD coverage ceases at age 60.
B. Diagnosis of 36 Critical Illnesses
This plan comes with a Critical Illness accelerator on the Sum Assured of the rider, whereby the Sum Assured, RM25,000 is payable upon the earlier of death or TPD or diagnosis of any of the 36 Critical Illnesses, while the policy is in force.
However, in the event that a person is eligible to claim under both Critical Illness and disablement (e.g. paralysis) benefits, the person shall be paid under the Critical Illness benefit in full.
Hospitalization and Surgical Rider
A. Hospitalization Benefit
This rider pays a fixed amount of daily income in accordance to the plan selected for any period of hospitalization. See Schedule of Benefit below for the different plans available.
B. Surgical Benefit
This rider pays a fixed lump sum in accordance with the type of plan selected. The benefit payable is also dependent on the complexity of the surgical procedure, categorized according to the degree of severity - minor, intermediate, major or complex (see Schedule of Benefit below).
If two or more surgical procedures are performed at the same time, the benefit payable is the amount indicated for the one surgical procedure performed for which the largest amount is payable.
